Tomas Soucek has been head and shoulders above a lot of Premier League footballers this season so it may not come as a surprise that he is now topping charts in comparison to top-flight teams too.
The midfielder has been one of the signings of the season since joining West Ham from Slavia Prague in a £15million permanent deal last summer.

That figure is the most of any Premier League player this season and was more than most top-flight teams achieved as a whole across the most recent Friday-Monday
The 26-year-old was a towering figure in midfield as he dealt with the aerial threat posed by Sean Dyche’s side.
Soucek was so dominant in the air that he won an impressive 17 aerial duels at Turf Moor – a Premier League record for this season by any one player.
To put that into context, not only was it more than any other player during the match but only three teams – excluding West Ham of course – achieved more in the Premier League across Friday-Monday.
Leicester City (28), Wolves (20) and Manchester City (18) all won more as a team than the Czech Republic international did individually.
To further enhance this statistic, Soucek’s 17 is more than double than lowly Sheffield United (eight) achieved as a team during their 4-0 thrashing at Tottenham on Sunday night.
Unsurprisingly his total is a record for a single Premier League player this season. The last time this figure was toppled by anyone was in January 2020 when Troy Deeney achieved 21 during Watford’s 0-0 draw with Tottenham.
Leicester City were one of just three teams to win more aerial duels than Soucek this weekend
