Rangers continued their dominance of Old Firm rivals Celtic this season with a 4-1 win at Ibrox to stay on course for an undefeated Premiership campaign.

Two goals from Kemar Roofe either side of an Alfredo Morelos strike and a final flourish from Jermain Defoe handed Steven Gerrard’s champions their fourth win over Celtic in league and cup this season.

The visitors played with 10 men for 64 minutes at Ibrox after Callum McGregor picked up two yellow cards in the space of three minutes.

Celtic managed to equalise through Odsonne Edouard but parity lasted just three minutes before Morelos scored.

Roofe sealed another Rangers victory with a second-half header before Defoe weaved through the Celtic defence to slot home the fourth and hammer home the shift in the Old Firm power balance.
