Everton are reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth striker Joshua King on a permanent basis despite his slow start to life at Goodison Park.
King penned a six-month loan deal worth £5million after choosing Carlo Ancelotti’s men over Fulham on deadline day.
The 29-year-old has, however, struggled to break into Everton’s starting XI – having made just five substitute appearances in the Premier League and failed to register a single goal.

Nevertheless, Everton are keen to turn King’s current deal into long-term arrangement – according to Football Insider.
Everton are reluctant to let King leave as they recognise similarities between him and their star striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The Cherries also received a £2m nominal fee for the striker’s loan move back in the January transfer window.
