Fabrizio Romano spoke to GiveMeSport about the relationship between the pair.

Romano said: “Speaking with some sources, Ten Hag is prepared to give him a chance to change the situation.

“He feels he could be an important player for Manchester United in the future.”

Rashford is hoping to impress new boss Erik ten Hag ahead of new contract talks.

Having begun last season with a shoulder injury, the local lad only started 13 Premier League games.
