Crossfire viewers call out glaring blunder in BBC thriller’s premiere – but did you spot it?

CROSSFIRE made its debut on the BBC last night but viewers are all spotting the same blunder.

The brand new thriller drama, which is spread over three nights this week, stars Keeley Hawes.

Keeley plays the role of Jo, a mother on holiday with her family at a luxury Spanish resort.

However, her world is turned upside down when she begins to hear gunshots from her balcony.

During last night’s opening episode, viewers watched as gunmen entered the resort and started shooting dead holiday-goers.

The horrific and terrifying scenes had viewers on the edge of their seats.

However, an obvious blunder has everyone saying the same thing.

As Jo desperately tried to find her family and other families ran for their lives, it appeared nobody rang the police.

Viewers were quick to point out how despite seeing so many guests with phones, nobody could be seen calling for help.

One viewer said: “Do they have any police on this island?”

“This started off well and then got a bit silly, surely the Police would have turned up by now,” said another.

Meanwhile, actress Keeley, 46, previously said why she found filming Crossfire more ‘exciting’ compared to Bodyguard.

Crossfire continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
