VIDEOS uploaded to Brian Coulter’s Instagram account appear to show him slurring his words and boozing after allegedly murdering an eight-year-old boy and “leaving his remains with his abandoned siblings” in a Texas apartment.
Coulter, 31, and the kids’ mom Gloria Williams, 35, were arrested on Tuesday at a public library where they were allegedly researching news articles about themselves.
Officers say they received a call from a boy, 15, on Sunday who claimed that his brother, eight, had been dead for a “year”.
The exact date of the youngster’s death remains unknown.
The teen had reportedly been caring for his two other siblings, seven and 10, at the Houston flat, collecting food from neighbors.
Instagram videos, uploaded within the “year”, appear to show Coulter slurring his words and drinking.
In one clip from February 15, the 31-year-old is seen eating his steak dinner and drinking a glass of Platino Love Strawberry wine.
He says: “Where am I? Some of you gentlemen out there y’all have to be blessed and get lucky.
“Thank you and thank you Lord for this s**t right here. This is good. (sic).”
Michael Jackson’s hit track Man in the Mirror is heard blaring out throughout the clip.
Other clips also show Coulter smoking in his car and showcasing his bling jewelry.
Cops told The Sun that the young boy died from “homicidal violence” with multiple blunt force injuries, according to the medical examiner in Harris County.
Williams and Coulter were quizzed by Harris County cops before being released on Monday. They were then arrested on Tuesday.
Coulter was charged with murder in connection with the child’s death while Williams has been charged with injury to a child by omission, failure to provide medical care, and failure to provide adequate supervision, according to ABC13.
Cops said Williams and her boyfriend lived in a separate apartment about 15 miles away. It’s not clear when the pair started dating.
The three siblings were taken to a hospital where they were assessed and treated.
Neighbors told ABC13 that the 15-year-old boy would come to them for food.
One resident, Erica Chapman, said the teen would not accept cooked meals – only packaged snacks, fruit, and pizza.
Another neighbor, Trevor Thompson, also said he provided the teen with food.
Thompson claimed that the teen was afraid of “getting poisoned” – adding he would only accept certain foods.
In 2019 and 2020, the school district filed truancy papers against the mother, as two children reportedly failed to show up to school.
